Demolition and substrate build-up
The old floor comes out, thinset or adhesive is ground off under containment, and the new substrate goes in. Backer board is bedded and fastened, membrane is bonded, and waterproofing is applied and allowed to cure where the room requires it. Plan on one to two days for this stage.

Setting, grouting, and cure
Layout is confirmed, tile is set with leveling clips, and the floor rests overnight before grouting. Grout cures before sealing and before heavy traffic.
